PlayWhat? for Spotify

PlayWhat? is a campaign created for Spotify in a collaboration initiated and produced by Promotion Pictures NYU. I teamed up with J Charles Banks from Columbia film, Caitlin Robinson from Stern/Tisch, Rosalie Yu and Sagar Mohite from ITP.

PlayWhat is your personal music request line. It is a website where you can make playlists for any reason you can think of, and have your friends add songs to it. You can share it with your friends on social media and let them add songs with Spotify. We found 4 real people and filmed them in a live interactive experience with a jukebox we created on the streets of New York. This analogue experience is what using PlayWhat is about, put into a physical space.
